Milan Berginc attended the Jovan Bandur Music School in his hometown of Pančevo, Serbia, and entered the Belgrade Faculty of Music at the early age of fifteen, as the youngest violinist in his class. He finished his Bachelor diploma in December 2007 as a student of professor Jasna Maksimović, with the highest marks. Following this, he got his Master diploma at the University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway as a student of professor Bord Monsen.


He is currently pursuing his PhD studies at the Belgrade Faculty of Music in Serbia and graduated with an MA from the Royal Academy of Music as a student of Remus Azoitei and So-Ock Kim. During his studies, Milan placed in several National and International competitions, including third prize in A. Glazunov in Paris in 2003, and 2005, and first prize in the Mozartiana competition in Skopje, Macedonia. In the same competition Milan won the prize from the Macedonian Philharmonic for the best performance of the Mozart violin sonata.

During his studies in Belgrade he was the member of the faculty orchestra as well as a member of the chamber orchestra Belgrade Strings-Dušan Skovran. Since January 2012, Milan is involved in the work of the Westminster Music Service and is giving music workshops in several public schools in London. In 2005 Milan become a member of the Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra, of which he is currently still a member. Milan has participated in several master classes with professors such as Hilfried Fister, Igor Ozim and Pierre Amoyale.
